Blog Post of the Day 4/29

What is a 'splash page'? Look it up. Explain what they are and how they are used. Find an example of a splash page in Google Images. Save the image to your computer and then upload it to your blog post. Hint - see below.

A splash page is the page of a Web site that the visitor sees first before they continue to the main content. They are used to promote things or to inform the visitor what is necessary to view the rest of the site's content. The image below is an example of a splash page because Facebook requires the user to "sign in" in order to gain full access of the website.
